Namaste Indian Cuisine: Authentic Indian Buffet Experience in Portland

I have been searching for an Indian Buffet since covid. This is a fantastic Buffet! Food is fresh and delicious. The tandoori chicken is delicious (hard to find that's not dry) the selections are plenty and delicious. So glad I found this place! Also, Buffet is 7 days a week!

The food is delicious, although some dishes were cold. As it is a buffet some dishes have been sitting for a while. Some meat dishes have small bones in it so be careful. I gave it a 5 but it definitely has room to improve. Given that, the selection is wide and every dish I had I liked the taste of. The naan is fresh as well. They have a wide selection of salad ingredients as well as indian style sweets.

When we first arrived, we almost thought we were in the wrong place - the exterior looks quite simple and unassuming. But once we stepped inside, it felt surprisingly cozy, with a lovely green view through the windows. This was actually one of ours very first experiences with Indian food. My husband and I are Ukrainians, so we're used to Slavic cuisine and really didn't know what to expect. But it was love from the very first bite! I'm a vegetarian, and they have a great variety of delicious options for me. My husband tried several chicken, lamb, and goat dishes - and enjoyed every one of them. The staff was friendly and welcoming. And for the first time, I actually want to come back to a buffet! Usually, buffets feel a bit soulless, but this one truly has heart.

Absolutely love this place! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and authentic, easily some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve had. The open buffet is awesome, with a wide variety of dishes so you can try a little bit of everything. The curries are rich and perfectly spiced, the naan is warm and fluffy, and the portions are generous. The staff are welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere feels cozy and inviting. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, the quality is consistently excellent. Highly recommend if you’re craving delicious Indian food!

There seem to be quite a few restaurants in Portland where the outside makes you think twice about going in. This is one of them, but don’t let the outside fool you. Inside it is quite nice with lots of seating by large windows that allow natural light into the space. Very clean and pleasant I was also tentative about the four stars but I think that’s due to a couple of one star reviews that really skewed the rating. I found the food to be very tasty with a good variety of dishes, both vegetarian and non-veg. My waitress was very friendly and attentive. It’s all buffet all the time. I thought it was great and will definitely be going back. Well, worth the price.

Haven't been there in a while because it is quite a ways away. Always like them. The food was great, and the buffet prices were reasonable. So I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the food was greater this time and, while the prices did rise, it was kept to a decent increase. A lot more flavorable choices, including a host of chicken dishes made with white meat chicken for those of us who find dark meat too fatty, several types of rice, bountiful vegetarian choices and even a goat curry! Spicy without being overwhelming. I do wish they would offer a garlic naan on the buffet (and mango chutney)but, hey, that's why the good lord invented itemized menus. Both mango and coconut soft serve ice cream were offered along with more traditional Indian sweets for dessert, like rice pudding and those little carrot looking "coins" (its early, can't remember names). With the choices offered, nobody at our table left hungry. We're not gonna wait that long to go back again.

A Great Buffet! The variety is amazing! It’s always clean there and the food is fresh and hot. There are plenty of vegetarian options. My favorites are the authentic curry / tandoori flavors with shrimp and bbq chicken. You have to finish with some mango or coconut soft serve!! Well worth the $!!!

Stopped in after an inspection today. Friendly service and good food. The location is a little hard to notice from the road, especially with vehicles parked out front, so clearer signage could really help new customers find the place. I’d come back again
